With a career in surface preparation and finishing that began in 1996, Clay’s foundation was built in industrial distribution in Birmingham, AL—gaining hands-on application knowledge across key markets including automotive, aerospace, military, energy, and large-scale industrial surface finishing contractors.
Clay later expanded his industry perspective as a manufacturer’s representative for E.D. Bullard Company, one of the United States oldest and respected safety equipment manufacturers, where he supported both industrial safety and pharmaceutical sectors, earning QSSP certification during his tenure.
Before joining SurfacePrep, Clay spent 10 years with Clemco Industries Corp.—the world’s largest air blasting manufacturer—serving as a Sales Manager and working closely with a broad distribution network. This experience deepened his understanding of air blast systems and solidified his ability to support both end-users and channel partners with technical solutions.
Now, as Vice President of Airblast, Clay is focused on enhancing partner relationships and delivering high-performance solutions that drive customer success.
