Bob Hancock is the Executive Vice President of Strategic Channels at SurfacePrep. Bob manages our relationships with our strategic vendor partners, coordinating initiatives, and new product offerings with each of our regional groups. Bob also evaluates new vendor partnership opportunities that would provide added value for our company.

Bob officially entered the SurfacePrep family as an outside sales representative for Abrasive Products in 1990 after gaining experience at his father’s abrasives distribution company. He has since held multiple sales and management positions, including serving as equipment manager. This role required him to work with outside sales representatives to coordinate larger capital equipment projects. He also held the position of National Sales Manager where he was responsible for the sales of cut wire and specialty metallic abrasives.

Bob received a bachelor’s degree in business operations from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
