Meet Rebecca White, “Job Shop Momma” (Administrative Assistant) at S.O.T. Abrasives Division

Rebecca has been working for the SurfacePrep – S.O.T. Division for almost 11 years.

Rebecca will do anything needed to help with our customers’ projects at the finishing and fabrication job shop in Richardson, Texas. From providing order status, coordinating logistics, processing payments, keeping all project details filed and greeting every person that walks in the door, Rebecca is there for our customers. Assisting her coworkers is the other half of her job. She orders supplies and assists helping with payroll. Rebecca also keeps track of all active jobs in the pipeline and any critical job details.

“Often the first and last person our customers see, Rebecca is a pivotal member of our team here at the job shop. Her knowledge of our customers and wide range of skills mean that we can lean on her to help with many functions of the business. From order entry and invoicing to quoting walk-ins and counting parts, we are thankful she is here to help us with it all,” said Anselm Ball, Solutions Specialist at the Job Shop.

“Multitasking always!” Rebecca said, “I like the fact that I’m never bored, because I am always busy in some way.”

When she isn’t working, Rebecca loves to cook, travel, spend time with her family, craft with her daughter and relax with her dogs.
